It’s neat to see the characters go to the land of their roots. The other half takes place in Rome, so the first Rick Riordan book I’ve read that’s set across the pond. 😉 Riordan did a great job of describing it. Apparently, it’s hiding some mythological monsters. A whole plotline takes place at the Georgia Aquarium and I got such a kick out of it. Roughly half of the book takes place in the US, particularly my home town of Atlanta, which made me happy.
